When we first made Big Honking Button we had some difficulty getting the button to fit snugly in the panel. With the tolerances we have for our panels, it would either be too hard to insert or it be a little loose.

Back then we used a clever little solution involving a rubber band, but now that we have a laser cutter we've come up wih these retaining rings. These fit perfectly so your button will be as snug as a bug in a rug!

These come with all Big Honking Buttons & kits purchased after July 1^st, 2021. We’ve put them up here in case you got your Big Honking Button earlier and want to upgrade from the rubber band to the retaining ring.

These are priced at $1 just to cover transaction fees. We recommend ordering these with something else (like our lovely patch cables), but domestic US shipping is $3.50 if you just want to order it by itself.
